matt Stuart
Matt Stewart is really interested in street photography. But a fascination with people and the way they live their lives, that is why he likes his business so much. He has been shooting on the streets for 18 years. Thee film camera he uses is a Leica MP with a 35mm fl.4 Leica Summilux lens, uses three rolls a day also never leaves the house without his camera. Digital camera he uses is a Leica M240 & canon EOS 5D mk3.
He spends most of the time walking the streets trying to capture moments. The only photographs on his website that are staged r digitally manipulated are the photographs clearly labelled as adverts in the commissioned section. Photographic influences are Garry Winogrand, Joel Meyerowitz, Lee Friedlander and many more. He didn't learn photography at college, he assisted a photographer for 3 years. |

Misho Barsnovic
From looking at all his street photography, one feel as this is my most favourite shoot due to his thinking outside the box and all the incredible colours capture my eyes. This is street photography with colour, with colour added brings out the feelings and emotions.

Misho Baranovic is a pioneer mobile photographer also a community engagement practitioner. He concentrates on the life of street, capturing fleeting moments without necessarily looking at the viewfinder. Mainly his interests is going out and taking pictures in local area as well as our environment, taking photos of people active. Misho had been shooting in all different places, buildings but pacifically focuses on people and their emotions. Which one think it brings out the picture with detail. He is inspired by the work of both creative hive and Stephanie Roberts who are both using the iPhones UI and accessibility to provide innovative community engagement opportunities for those facing social disadvantages in both the developed and developing world. He found it simpler, but tried abit too hard, too many apps and too much processing, too much imitation. That he feels that he is slowing finding his own way and is enjoying the process of photography, selecting images and finding scenes and moments.
In his own time he try's and shoots different moments in his spare time, wondering into the city or have a drive through the suburbs. Mainly searches for characters and interesting light. |
Misha Baranovichi prefers to approach photography 'street' as you can tell by looking through his photographs. My best image is the very last one, I like the way he has created a picture that links in. For example, the letter 'c' on his hat is symbolising the word 'cool' relating to 'your cool' which I think brings the picture out and that he is thinking out the box.

day out in town
Here are my photographs I took when we went to spend the day out in town as a class which I thought was a really good idea, also had a great time. We went to different parts in town to capture life, what it is like, to capture the atmosphere. We explored around the Christmas markets, the cathedral, round town to take pictures of buildings and people living life in general. The building were incredible, learnt bits of information that you wouldn't even think or expert, our main roles were too think like a photographer. Out of all areas we took pictures and was the most interesting place was the Cathedral. I liked how old and modern it looked with the colour glazed windows which brought out the place and the theme. Came out with plenty of good photographs of detailed buildings and features.
best photo
This picture is my best capture, I love how the picture is taken, one think taking a picture on an angle it looks more spectacular. Also the reason being from looking at this image the light from the candles creates a peaceful background as well looks admirable and appealing. The light reflects off the melted was creating a mix of colours together. The main focus is supposed to be spotted on the first candle, as you look further along the focus starts to loose luster, dims the light and blurs out the background. With my idea I thought to put an effect on to make the image more eye catching with a tint on colour by doing this I downloaded an app, then added an effect on.
second best
worst photo
This photo is my second favourite , from looking at this image the stained glass brightens up the photograph with all the elegant colours. All of the markings on the windows, cracks bring out the photo and the light shining in blocks it from showing the walls which makes it look effective. It was too much from the camera too take In because of the light.
Generally I dislike this image, one think there is nothing to it, not much colour, looks dim also its very plain. There's what makes the picture glow, I think it would look better if taken on a different angle and took a picture of the detail on the chairs. The exposer point on the camera was 5.6 not to make it dark or really light just average, but the picture looks dull because of the lightening also. From my point of view my opinions are to make the image more interesting is to put the camera on a angle, from the side corner facing across the seats, that would show the markings on the chairs but still have colour. Also to cut out the boring parts what you don't need and just ruin the picture.
